Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you upload electricity bills, we extract: service address, state, energy usage (kWh), billing periods, charges, and tariff details. We do not collect personal identification beyond what appears on your bills.
How we use it
Your data is used solely to generate a solar and battery analysis for your property. We do not sell, share, or use your data for marketing purposes.
File handling
Uploaded files (PDFs and images) are processed in memory on our servers and are never stored to disk, database, or cloud storage. Only the extracted numerical data may be temporarily stored if you choose to save a session.
Data retention
Session data is automatically deleted after a period you choose (default: 24 hours). You can delete all data immediately at any time using the “Delete data” button.
Third-party services
We use OpenAI's API to extract data from bill images. Data sent to OpenAI is subject to their API data usage policy and is not used for model training. We use Supabase for temporary session storage.
Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Server-side API keys are never exposed to the browser. We use row-level security on our database.
